Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or placing an order on Novacusine, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Novacusine lets you browse catering menus and packages, compose a custom event order, add supporting equipment and services, message the catering team, and pay online. Orders are requests for service and are confirmed once a deposit is paid.

3. Orders and payments

Prices shown are estimates based on your selections and are finalized on confirmation. A deposit (typically 30% of the estimated total) is due to confirm your event; the remaining balance is due according to the schedule communicated to you. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Where an event is fulfilled, your payment is transferred directly to novacuisine caterer's own Stripe account, less the platform's commission, which is deducted automatically at the time of payment.

4. Cancellations

Cancellation terms depend on how close to the event date you cancel. Please contact us as early as possible; deposits already paid may not be refundable once preparation for your event has begun.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate event, guest count, and dietary/allergy information, and to communicate any changes as soon as possible so we can adjust your order safely.

6. Liability

We take reasonable care in preparing and delivering your event, but our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules provide otherwise.
